Welcome to the Squash/Racketball Section
The Sports Club has a thriving squash section catering for players of all levels. In addition to squash, members can also enjoy racketball which is becoming popular for those wishing to test their stamina even more!
The Club has two well-maintained heated squash courts with an upstairs viewing gallery providing spectators with visibility of both courts. There are also modern changing facilities with showers.
During both winter and summer seasons the club runs internal mini leagues, which are enjoyed by most members providing competition at their respective level and are a great way of getting to know each other. As racketball becomes more popular mini leagues are also organised in the summer months.
A full programme of mini leagues operate throughout the winter and summer seasons, giving members the chance to meet and enjoy some competition. The leagues cover all standards and players quickly find the best suited leagues for their playing level. League matches are played within the month and the leagues are then updated to include those promoted/demoted from last months results.
Coaching & Team Squash
Squash coaching is available during the main playing season (Sep - Mar) for all members wishing to improve their racket skills: male/female, adult/juniors.
Team squash is played by both gents and ladies teams representing the club in regional leagues. The club is always on the lookout for those serious players to join team squash and help maintain the competitive standing of the club.
